About the Lattner Performance Group

Amber talking at Lou Holtz Hall of Fame event

The Lattner Performance Group emphasizes the power of Mindset and Leadership to drive lasting change in individual lives, athletic teams, businesses and organizations. A general systems theory perspective underlies our belief that everything within one’s life, team, or organization is connected. Everything within a system of operation is connected and should therefore be considered when seeking to achieve performance excellence. This enables us to take a dynamic and individualized approach with each of our clients, while maintaining the overall mission of “Building Championship Mindsets” with whomever we work.

Designed to reflect the powerful alignment of different brain wave frequencies on an EEG, our logo symbolizes the achieved state of optimal performance through intentional development. At the Lattner Performance Group, we help build championship mindsets that synergize people, purpose, and systems to achieve true greatness.

I will continue to call upon Amber and the Lattner Performance Group to help me create a championship culture at the University of Massachusetts.
Charley Molnar, Former Head Football Coach at University of Massachusetts.

A Letter from Amber…

To All Those Seeking to Make Greatness,

Hello! It is a blessing to introduce you to the Lattner Performance Group and our mission of “Building Championship Mindsets.” I hope that we can help you and your team or business to find, develop, and/or share your greatness with the world.

Our website does a great job of sharing what the Group does, but as Founder of the Lattner Performance Group, I’d like to share briefly about who I am.

Raised on the east coast in small town USA, I grew up going to church, showing livestock, playing sports, and working in the family McDonald’s franchise business. Invigorated by competition and highly driven even at a young age, it was then I decided that I wanted to play Division I athletics.

The pinnacle of my athletic career was putting on the #29 jersey for the Fighting Irish Women’s Soccer program at the University of Notre Dame, a team that advanced all the way to the National Championship game. Although I had verbally committed to the United States Naval Academy during my senior year of high school, a torn ACL one month before I was to leave for Annapolis and Plebe Summer changed the course of my life forever. Thus began my incredible journey with the Notre Dame Family…

Although injury ended my athletic career early, the identity crisis that ensued forced a type of introspection for which I am eternally grateful. I became very aware of the power of mindset and just how critical a solid foundation of self becomes when most else is stripped away.

I continued to work closely with our athletic department and in the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. I earned a degree in Management Consulting, with a minor in European studies and a certificate in international business. My passion for diversity of thought, culture, and experience was fueled by studying in Spain, completing the “Camino de Santiago” pilgrimage across its northern terrain, and traveling throughout Europe.

After graduating from Notre Dame, I worked in human resources with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. There I had the opportunity to work in manufacturing plants and corporate offices across the country, serving internal customers from the executive suite to the machine press floor.

I returned to graduate school to pursue an advanced degree in sport and performance psychology, and plan to complete my doctoral work in a similar space. Each of these experiences has played a critical role in positioning me to lead the Lattner Performance Group and indeed, to build championship mindsets within our clients.

It would be a privilege to join you, and assist you on your journey of Greatness. I look forward to getting to know you and your team, and to work together in order to achieve the excellence you desire.

God Bless & Go Irish,
Amber Lattner
